¿Cuántos científicos se oponen a la teoría del calentamiento global?

Respuesta: Más de 19 mil científicos con títulos de doctorado e ingeniería, más de 2000 de ellos con titulación en ciencias relacionadas con el clima. Y sólo en EEUU.

Tal es el número de firmantes de la petición sobre el Calentamiento Global que reza así:

We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind.
There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate. Moreover, there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth.

Lo que importan son los diversos estudios al respecto realizados en múltiples campos que refutan la teoría del cambio climático antropogénico. Importan los múltiples trabajos ignorados por journals y revistas científicas por "no ajustarse al consenso climático", importan las voces calificadas y formadas que expresan su escepticismo al respecto. Importan las consecuencias ambientales y económicas de las equivocadas políticas que el mundo está tomando a instancias del IPCC.
